Founded by Andrew Davies in 2017, TDS began with Andrew’s desire to settle closer to his family in Sheffield, Tasmania. He purchased his first drone in 2017, self-taught himself the technology, and bootstrapped TDS from his savings. Initially operating from his parents’ granny flat, Andrew grew the company to 13 full-time staff within eight years.
TDS is advancing the development of its Manufacturing Precinct in Tasmania, where innovation drives everything we do. By pushing the boundaries of technology, we continue to pioneer world-first solutions that address real challenges and create a sustainable future for humanity.

Andrew Davies
Founder & CEO
Andrew founded TDS in 2017 and has since then grown the business from a one-man show to one of the leading commercial drone companies in Australia. As CEO, Andrew is responsible for driving strategic innovations and maximising the potential of each team member at TDS. A self-confessed nerd, Andy enjoys watching anime and exploring Tasmania’s stunning natural landscapes.
Jeremy Gralton
Chief Remote Pilot & COO
Jeremy is the project lead on all ops and with a commercial pilot’s background, brings precision and expertise to every flight and operation. Outside of work Jeremy loves to travel, surf and spend time with his young family.

If you got your Remote Pilot License in Tasmania then there’s a high chance that Neville was your trainer. Neville brings a lifetime of experience across different backgrounds and has now found his passion in drones. Outside of work Nev loves spending time with his family and travel with friends.
Tom Politt
Pilot/Maintenance Officer
Tom has come leaps and bounds since beginning at TDS in 2023 as a Maintenance Officer. Tom now takes the lead on most Bird Diverter projects where he has successfully installed over 1000 so far! Tom loves working for TDS because it gives him the opportunity to travel all over Tasmania.

Scott Reeman
Trainer
Scott has extensive experience in the aviation and aerospace industry, including service as a fighter pilot and experimental test pilot in the Royal Australian Air Force. For over 20 years, he has been a senior figure in the international aerospace community. In the past five years, Scott has consulted on technology development and solutions for both manned and unmanned aviation, as well as space applications. Outside of work, he enjoys boating, country sports, and fishing in the Tasmanian highlands, with a particular fondness for Alfa Romeos.

Abhi, an accomplished electronics engineer by trade, is the driving force behind transforming our innovative drone concepts into reality. Originally from India, where he successfully ran his own company for 10 years specialising in heavy-payload drones, Abhi brings a wealth of expertise and entrepreneurial experience to our team. Since joining TDS in early 2024, he has been instrumental in leading our research and development efforts, pushing the boundaries of drone technology and innovation.

Daniel Signorile
Business Development Manager
Daniel joined TDS in 2023 and focuses on growing the TDS client base overseeing all aspects of new customer acquisition in both domestic and international markets. He is the main point of contact for nurturing existing client relationships and also oversees TDS’ social media marketing strategy. Outside of work, Daniel is passionate about health and wellness and loves travelling.
Olga Nashima
Business Development Manager - Africa & Middle East
Former senior surveyor from Namibia, with a decade in open-pit and hydrographic mining environment. Strong advocate for innovation & process improvement. Now looking after business growth and client relations at TDS in Africa & the Middle East region. Outside work, she’s a plant person, loves learning new languages, and on a walk, you’ll find her taking photographs of random things from different viewpoints.
